Saints decline Payton Turner’s fifth-year option

The New Orleans Saints will not be picking up the fifth-year option on DE Payton Turner’s contract, according to multiple reports. When he has been on the field, he has accumulated 38 total tackles and three sacks in three seasons. This news doesn’t come as a surprise as Turner will now have to stay on the field and produce if he wants to return with the Saints.
