The Journey Unexpected has Moved

The Journey Unexpected has Moved

Hello everyone! You may or may not have noticed that I have been working for about a week and half at moving The Journey Unexpected and its blog posts and other resources to its own domain and to Wordpress. You can find everything at our new domain, http://thejourneyunexpected.com. Some improvements that have already been put into place include a nifty recipe card system for our recipes. Besides making everything uniform, you can now easily print just the recipe (in your desired format) and even save them into your own YumPrint computerized cookbooks. YumPrint is free to join, but you can print without even signing up. I really like what I am seeing with this program. I also have started to use a slideshow maker on the posts with a lot of pictures. This makes the pages load quicker and look more organized on those posts. Moving to my own domain makes the URL much easier to remember as well as giving me full control over the blog (unlike hosting it through a free blogging company). Please note that you may have to subscribe again to The Journey Unexpected. I was able to transfer the subscriptions of one service, but if you follow through Networked Blogs, RSS feeds, or either of the other two methods that are totally tied into Blogspot and Google... you will need to resubscribe over on the new site. These changes will help The Journey Unexpected grow and I am excited about the future. Please join me as I continue on The Journey Unexpected, Stephanie
