Another school shooting yesterday. Interestingly, not long after we finally get some insight into the mind of the last school shooter. In between, an assassination attempt on the former, and likely future POTUS. Watch for the political positioning in the next 24-48 hours. Everybody is going to have something to say. People are going to take stances not for the sake of moving things forward in any fashion, but simply to a) grab a headline and b) not look like the guy they are running against. There will be calls for gun control; there will be calls for teachers to carry weapons. None of it is going to help. This is a problem in the deepest soul of America. Politics are not designed to deal with our deepest souls. There are limits to the power of our government and no government, no matter how powerful it is, could deal with this sickness.
