I think the idea of growth is out of road, killed by its own implausibility in a finite world

Well, that’s climate change killed as a problem then. Because the entire thesis is that this century the world economy will grow as it did in the 20th century. It isn’t current emissions that lead to the grosser problems identified, it’s those stemming from continued – fossil fuel powered – growth that do.

If there’s to be no growth then the problem is very minor indeed.
