Solemn commemorations have just been held on the 50th anniversary of the Dublin and Monaghan no warning bombings which claimed the lives of 34 people and injured hundreds more. These atrocities were committed by loyalists in the middle of the UWC strike in the North which within weeks had overthrown new British -Irish structures and the recently formed power sharing Executive.
