Cranberry Gummies

With only a couple of ingredients, you can make a ton of Cranberry Gummy Snacks packed full of antioxidants, gut-healing gelatine and nutrients that are ready to enjoy throughout the week.

Grass-Fed Gelatine

When mixed with water, gelatine is a gel-like substance that makes for a healthy snack for your family.

Grass-fed gelatine comes from grass-fed beef that have a better beef nutritional profile whereas grain-fed gelatine comes from grain-fed beef. Grain-fed beef comes from cattle that have poor living conditions and have been pumped with antibiotics.

Using grass-fed gelatine in these gummies

  • Can help heal the intestinal track, calming inflammation and any irritations
  • Helps support joint and cartilage health
  • Can help improve bone health
  • Contains amino acids

To freeze for up to 3 months, place them in a freezer-safe container and place in the freezer. Defrost over in the fridge before consuming.

Gummy Notes

  • Use unsweetened, pure cranberry juice to make these gummies
  • To keep your gummies from being too sticky, you can sprinkle 2 to 3 tablespoons of cornflour over your finished gummies, add the lid to the container and gently shake until they are all lightly covered.
  • As these are made with an animal product (gelatine), they do need to be kept in the fridge.
  • Once the liquid has cooled, you can taste it for sweetness. You make want to add more or less sweetener in your next batch.
  • These gummies can be made with other flavours using 1:1, except for pineapple, mango or papaya juice. These juices contains bromelain, which will stop your gummies from setting properly. Though, you can try using 50% pineapple juice and 50% of another juice such as orange or pomegranate.
  • Mould – You can use any mould you want. If you don’t have a mould, you can pour into a glass baking dish and cut into small pieces once set.
  • Instead of honey, you could try using  maple syrup or agave, apple sauce. stevia, though I haven’t tried this myself.
  • You can make your own fruit puree and use that instead of juice.
  • Try adding a dash of fresh ginger or turmeric or a bit of cinnamon for a bit more flavour.
