The Boston massacre happened on this date 255years ago. There was bad blood between the colonists and the redcoats. The redcoats were professionals the Bostinians not so much. On this day the colonists were taunting the redcoats and throwing rocks, sticks and snowballs at them. Captain Preston lost control of his men and they fired into the crowd with their muskets. Maybe he ordered it maybe not. There is a picture of the massacre & it shows the redcoats in line abreast. Once their in this formation, it is the start to a potential fight. They usually wait for any future orders. That order is to fire. So it was one volley and 5 men fell. Crispus Attucks was the first to fall in the crowd of 400. He was a black/ indigenous man. This event was used by the sons of liberty to drum up anti British sentiments in the Boston community. The British pulled their troops out of Boston until 1774. So the embers burned for the next 5 years. Culminating at Breeds Hill June 17th 1775. Kent state, May 4th 1970. Ill led national guard troops gunned down 4 kids, who were taunting and throwing rocks at them. They responded with live ammo. A military force shooting into a crowd of fellow Americans. It was a turning point in the future end of the Vietnam War. These flash points usher in some sort of change in the direction of futurefate. What will become of us?
