The Los Angeles Lakers were thoroughly dismantled by the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, which was disappointing for all fans.
But even though the team was easily beaten, it gave Bronny James a chance to flex his muscles on the court again.
And he made the most of his time, scoring nine points in just eight minutes on the court.
Hoop Central celebrated James after his big night, and fans of the young player were also praising the rookie and once again getting hopeful about his future.

Some people feel the game was proof that James deserves more time in games.
They are already calling on head coach JJ Redick to put James in more games and even let him play for all four quarters.
He deserves to be in the rotation

Nine points might not be a lot for many players, but it’s a strong total for James, who has averaged just 1.4 points, 0.4 rebounds, and 0.5 assists during his first year.
What caused him to play better on Wednesday?
Some people feel his confidence is growing, which would make sense considering he has done well in his recent G-League games.
Is he turning a corner and finally finding his rhythm?
Homie playing with more confidence it’s nice to see!

However, others pointed out that James only played well because the Lakers were already getting destroyed and he was on the court during garbage time.
It was a blowout where they lost vs a terrible team.

For the time being, James will probably only play in NBA games during blowout wins or losses.
But it doesn’t matter because every game will be another opportunity for him to show his skills and earn his spot on the roster, no matter how limited it is.
