Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has expressed his desire to be part of the senior national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Nigerian international made this known in an interview with Segun Odegbami, where he said that he's coming to the best of his career and feels more motivated to represent the Super Eagles. "Yes, I will be available for 2025 AFCON but 2026 World Cup is my main target and I feel I am coming to the best year of my career. I feel good physically and I am recovery well now. I feel more motivated than before and to be really be part of history and join some of the great stars who have won one trophy before. Winning a trophy has been my ultimate goal. But I have been so close.
