Victor Osimhen was on target for but a late Isaac Success goal saw relegation threatened Udinese force Napoli to a 1-1 home draw in Monday's Serie A game. It was Osimhen's 15th goal in 23 league appearances for the former Serie A champions. The reigning African Player of the Year has scored four goals in his last five league fixtures. For Success, it is his first goal for Udinese since April 2023. Also in action in the league game was Maduka Okoye who featured in his 18th league game. After a goalless first half, Osimhen gave Napoli the lead in the 51st minute. Matteo Politano floated in a cross with his weaker right foot from the right flank, Osimhen got between two defenders to nod in from six yards. Napoli are now winless in their last four games (three draws, one loss) while Udinese have recorded three defeats and two draws in their last five games. While Osimhen was replaced with three minutes left, Success was brought on in the 53rd minute. The draw moved Napoli to eight on 51 points and Udinese are 18th on 30 points and are two points away from safety.
