atlantathecity: North Angier Avenue, near Ralph McGill Boulevard. It’s hard to believe: less than five years ago, this spot was a giant parking lot in front of a one story Georgia Power building. Now it’s a massive mixed-use development that’s adjacent to the Eastside Beltline. And the developer (New City) was able to do it *without* the millions of dollars in tax incentives they originally pursued, but that Invest Atlanta (wisely) wasn’t willing to give them. So it’s a success story on multiple fronts! It makes me happy to be here and soak it in.
