Gonzaga’s 2024 Kraziness in the Kennel Date Announced

James Snook-USA TODAY Sports This will be your first chance of watching the 2024-2025 Zags in action this fall. One of the most popular events on campus during Fall Family Weekend is set for October 5th at 3 PM PT. Kraziness in the Kennel will be the first time to watch the newcomers. Michael Ajayi, Khalif Battle, Braeden Smith, Emmanuel Innocenti and Ismaila Diagne are all apart of the impressive transfer portal haul for Mark Few this offseason. Kingston Flemings, a top point guard in the 2025 recruiting class, will also be in attendance. That scene with the Kennel rocking is a great way to convince any recruit that Spokane is home. Last season’s event had Luka Krajnovic win the skill challenge and Nolan Hickman came out victorious in the three-point shootout. The White team took down the Navy team in the 20-minute scrimmage, 52-38. Braden Huff led all scorers with 19 points on 7-12 FG/1-3 3PT for the white team. The biggest question I have is if this event will bring back the dunk contest? For whatever reason, Gonzaga decided to not put on this competition which doesn’t make much sense. A limited number of tickets will be made available to the general public beginning at 12 PM PT on October 2nd (only allowed two tickets per account). Gonzaga students can claim tickets from September 27th-30th. Seating is general admission and the doors open an hour before tip-off. You can watch it on television locally on SWX or nationally on ESPN+. It will also be available on the radio through Gonzaga Sports Properties.
