The item “update blog” appears frequently on my to do list, but always gets shuffled off to the next month and the next and the next year and and … and here we are.
The biggest update: In 2022, I got married!
To my student, lol! We met in morning class when he started training. One big change is that we now live 45 minutes from the gym down the often-backed-up interstate, so morning classes are our only training option.
And then we bought more horses. He already had a couple that belonged to his sons, so we got our own. This is my pretty boy:
I also got a cat-by-marriage who now spends most of her days curled up on me and otherwise being cute:
And most recently, this fall I was awarded my black belt after 16.5 years:
