According to Miami Springs police, Northwest 36th Street is closed in both directions along 57th Avenue/Curtiss Parkway and Palmetto Drive, and residents are advised to avoid the area “for the foreseeable future.” According to Miami-Dade police, the motorcycle cop is a 15-year veteran who serves in the Kendall sector. According to the preliminary inquiry, the officer was heading to training when he was cut off by a driver in an SUV, according to Miami-Dade police. The motorbike is shown adjacent to the crashed SUV in a helicopter TV news video. According to Miami-Dade police, the officer was conscious and attentive when he was transferred to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life severe injuries.
