According to Daily Mail, Charlotte is part of an out-of-school netball team that competes at a high level across Britain. Kate played for her league at St. Andrew’s school in 1990s.

“All of the parents of the girls on the opposing teams are wondering whether or not they’re going to run into [Prince] William and Kate,” an insider said.

“It’s all very hands-on, and it would be funny to see them in such a down-to-earth environment, doing the early starts and long drives that everyone else has to do,” the source noted.

While the future king of England awarded former women’s soccer player Kerry Davis the Member of the Order of the British Empire, he also shared how much his daughter loves the sport.

According to The Independent, William raved about what a “pioneer” Davis is and recalled the athlete asking about Charlotte “because she plays.”

In 2025, the Prince of Wales joined forces with English soccer star Jill Scott to celebrate 100 years of the Fields in Trust charity. “Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she is really good at goal. She said, ‘Please tell them that.’ She’s a budding star for the future,” William told the team while visiting a practice in 2022 via People.

During a conversation with cycle activist Vivi Lin at the XSW London Festival, the father of three opened up about Charlotte getting older and how his spouse will help her through her teenaged years.

“I took the courage to ask him a really important question: I asked him, ‘Are you ready to talk to your daughter about periods?’ and how he is preparing,” Lin recalled to People.

“He answered genuinely and smiled and said, ‘This is a topic I am not familiar with,’ and it was really lovely,” the NGO “With Red” founder said. “But he said he knows it is going to be a conversation that he would need to have in the future. He said he will try to do so with the help of his wife. He acknowledged there is still menstrual stigma across the world, and a lot of people don’t know about it.”

As their little girl, Prince George and Prince Louis get older, William and Kate are making sure family is their top priority.

“I do try and stick to school timetables as best as possible,” the 44-year-old said during his appearance on The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy. “So, most days we’re in and out of school doing pickups and drop-offs.”

“Getting the balance of work and family life right is really important because, for me, the most important thing in my life is family and everything is about the future,” William noted. “If you don’t start the children off now with a happy, healthy, stable home, I feel you’re setting them up for a bit of a hard time and a fall.”
