The rapid advancement of AI presents profound, potentially catastrophic risks if the alignment problem isn't solved. To help address this, I'm pivoting the focus of my consulting business, Futurescape Instructional Design, toward AI safety fieldbuilding and educational meta-interventions. Drawing on my background as an instructional designer and my recent studies in ASI, I'll be working as an AI safety generalist to translate complex existential risks into accessible, actionable knowledge for the general public. We cannot leave the future of humanity solely in the hands of a few frontier labs; we need a broad, deeply informed public to navigate these challenges.
