Graduation & The City

She did it, First Class Honours in History.  The last three years at Royal Holloway University of London have flown but what a time she’s had, one more year of study ahead to complete a Masters then the world awaits, hopefully doors will open for our clever girl.  We made the most of the celebrations, graduation day was so much fun and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of her day. We treated ourselves to a day in London, walking around this beautiful city that will probably be home for Ruby in the coming years.  Spending a few hours indulging in art at the Courtauld Gallery, wandering up to Covent Garden, I finally got to mooch in Labour & Wait which was everything I’d expect it to be.  We made our way to Soho to have the best pasta I’ve ever eaten at Padella, the interiors were fabulous, the staff so friendly and the tiramisu to die for, it was rather hard leaving.   I loved our little breakaway and would simply love to do it all again, the happiest of days, ones I will not forget in a hurry.
