What is a ’Best of Houzz Award?’

Take a look at some of our favourite projects which have won over the last 10 years.
Suffolk House Garden Room wins Best of Houzz Design award in 2025
Our Suffolk House Garden Room project won a best of Houzz design award in the conservatory sector. This stunning timber garden room features a large, glazed gable enabling the room to be flooded with natural light. As a listed building, careful consideration was needed to ensure that the design of the new garden room was in keeping with the original architecture.

The room was meticulously designed with a steep-pitched tiled roof to mimic the existing characteristics of the adjoining building, adding to the original beauty of the old timber framed house. This new garden room is now the heart of the family home and regularly used for relaxing and entertaining.

Luxury Wine Cellar wins Best of Houzz Essex Wine Cellar award in 2025
Our iconic wine room project won a Best of Houzz Design Award. Our clients for this project were keen wine connoisseurs and therefore wanted to make wine a feature of their orangery project. An initial idea was to have a ‘wine wall’ where the homeowner could showcase their collection. However, after invaluable input from our team we saw the potential to create a slighter larger extension allowing for the installation of a custom-built space to house their assortment.
Homeowner Mrs M said: “It was this alternative point of view that was invaluable; Westbury helped us to think outside the box and the wine room became an integral and exciting part of the build for us.” go here

What sets Westbury Garden Rooms apart from the competition?
From your initial design consultation to the final installation, our team strives for perfection, ensuring that each project exceeds client expectations. We work closely with clients, their architects, and interiors designers to bring the homeowners vision to life. We pride ourselves on attention to detail. Every element, from the choice of materials to the finishing touches, is meticulously curated to ensure the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Our Orangeries and Garden Rooms are beautifully crafted form Accoya wood. Accoya is a revolutionary wood created from only fast-growing and copiously available FSC® or PEFC™ certified tree species such as Radiata pine.
The pine used to make Accoya goes through a (non-toxic, environmentally friendly) chemical process, called acetylation, which makes it a super-strength version of its original form – more durable and more stable. The acetylation process also improves its paint retention and in-ground performance. Accoya is just about as durable as wood can be and is rated as a Class 1 timber.
