The Balanced Blonde GUYYYYS! I can’t believe it’s been nearly a year and a half since I posted on THIS BLOG. A.k.a, formerly my only blog. A.k.a, the place where I’ve built my own little hub and magical space on the internet where you all have supported me for the last 13 years and then some.
If you’ve been here for all that time or a short time or anything in between… THANK YOU. You make TBB what it is. You make me what I am. I am the most grateful girl in the world and I GENUINELY feel like the luckiest human on earth.
Which is why it pains me to think, when new people visit my site, that perhaps they don’t realize that I STILL BLOG EVERY DAY… I just do it on Substack!!!!
& it’s quickly become my most favorite space on the internet. Like beyond beyond beyond beyond and I need you to join me over there!
No seriously, I received an email from an old reader the other day saying, “I’m just so sad you haven’t blogged since June, 2024, I miss knowing what’s going on in your life,” and I was like… WHAT????
But it also makes sense because if you’re not on social media or on my Substack email list which I like to call my VIP besties, then yes – how would you know I’m now blogging over there?!
Which means you may also not know that since we last chatted on this blog, I HAVE HAD ANOTHER BABY! Meet Delilah Jane, Atticus Story’s little sister.

So yes guys here is the vibe: I am still blogging, and I’m actually blogging more than ever before. I am telling suchhhh fun deep dive stories over on my Substack!! I feel like it’s igniting my inner child’s soul again for the first time in so long and it’s truly been life changing.
The truth is, blogs have been a ‘dying breed’ for the last 5-7 years. Which is really sad for those of us “bloggers who blog” and “writers who write” because acclimating to the new social landscape of quickie TikTok dancing videos and the ever-changing algorithm has just been… not fun.
So Substack has made blogging cool again, OFFICIALLY, and it’s been amazing.
