Estelle Harrison was a beautiful starlet who worked for Hal Roach She was born Ruby Estelle Harrison on August 26, 1894 in Florence, Alabama. Her father, Willis Harrison, was a hardware merchant, and her mother, Kate Harrison, was a housewife. Estelle had two brothers and one sister. When she was a child her family moved to Los Angeles, California. She began her acting career at the Burbank theater. In 1916 Hal Roach offered her a contract and she made her film debut in the short Luke, Patient Provider. The beautiful blonde would appear in dozens of comedies starring Harold Lloyd including It's A Wild Life, That's Him, and Spring Fever. Tragically in July of 1918 her father Willis committed suicide. Estelle appeared in the Mack Sennett comedy Whose Baby and in the Vitagraph comedy His Jonah Day. She was five feet, three inches tall, weighed 119 pounds, and had blue eyes. In 1921 she was Olin Francis's leading lady in the western A Knight Of The West. Her final film was the 1922 western Fighting Hearts.
