Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Bread

Ingredients For the filling: 2 cups fresh spinach (washed and chopped) 1 cup feta cheese 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese 1 teaspoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon olive oil Salt to taste Black pepper to taste For the dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon instant yeast 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup warm milk 1/4 cup vegetable oil 1 egg For topping: Sesame seeds (optional) Black seeds (optional) 1 beaten egg (for brushing) Instructions In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, vegetable oil, and the egg. Knead until the dough becomes soft and smooth. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour or until it doubles in size. In a pan, heat olive oil and cook the chopped spinach until it wilts. Add minced garlic and mix well. Remove from heat, then add feta cheese, mozzarella cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix and allow the filling to cool. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Once the dough has risen, divide it into equal balls. Roll each ball, add a spoonful of the spinach filling in the center, and close the dough. Shape as desired. Place the stuffed dough pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds or black seeds. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm for a delicious breakfast or snack.
