Oheka Castle Wedding : Gianna & Fritz : Huntington, NY

Gianna & Fritz were married at the historic Gold Coast mansion Oheka Castle on Long Island in Huntington, NY. Getting ready on site at Oheka Castle, I photographed the last bit of Gianna’s getting ready with her mom and grandparents. There were some incredibly sweet moments between Gianna’s grandma and grandpa all day - what a delight to be able to capture for them. Going for an ultra classic look, we let the beauty of the space and natural radiance of the couple do all the talking. I noticed when pulling URL’s for the vendor list below that Reem Acra uses Oheka for their main promo materials at the moment. Seems that was a good choice. A wedding at Oheka is really unlike any other in the NYC tri-state area. It suited this particular bride and groom perfectly as it exudes this elegant grandeur which Gianna & Fritz fit right in to. We were lucky to have the enveloping soft light for much of the day making it ideal for portraits throughout. Stealing the couple for just a few minutes during cocktail hour allowed us to capture a handful of extremely warm images of the two of them as the sun grazed the horizon line.
