Winter Is Coming

The countdown to winter has officially begun at Snowshoe! Today, August 17, marks 100 days until winter. We plan to kick off ski and snowboard season on Wednesday, November 25, weather permitting.

Winter 2026/27 Products Are On Sale

It’s officially acceptable to start thinking about powder days, first chair, and calling in “sick” when flakes fill the forecast. Lift tickets, passes, rentals, lessons and more for Winter 2026/27 are available now. Take a look here.

Looking Ahead at Shavers Center

Work is wrapping up on the new Shavers Center, a modern take on the original facility that served the mountain for nearly 50 years. Once complete, the new facility will bring key skier services together in the heart of the mountain while carrying forward the legacy of a place that holds a lot of memories for Snowshoe guests and employees.We’re looking forward to welcoming guests into the new space this winter.

We may have winter on the brain, but summer still has one big party left. Ballhooter Festival takes over the mountain Labor Day weekend with three days of live music, mountain adventures and plenty of good times on top of the mountain. Haven’t locked in your ticket yet? Well, you’re in luck. For a limited time, 3-day GA tickets are just $199, plus you can save 25% on applicable lodging. Snag yours before the offer ends on August 21.

And there are still plenty of laps left in the season. The Snowshoe Bike Park will keep rolling through closing weekend, October 10-11.

As summer winds down and the leaves start to change, winter planning kicks into high gear. Our annual Flurry of Savings returns October 1-10 with some of the best deals of the season. And if a Local or Ikon Pass is part of your winter plan, don’t sleep on it. Prices jump in October.
