Fresh Android 17 QPR1 Beta 8 Update Released for Pixel Phones

We might have started testing Android 17 QPR2 beta builds earlier in the month, but Google still has to get QPR1 ready for a stable release in September. Today, Google gave us Android 17 QPR1 Beta 8 and it is available on your Pixel phone immediately.

The update is mostly minor and provides 4 noteworthy bug fixes. Google took care of an audio framework buffer management issue, another bug for the Pixel Tablet Speaker Dock, an NFC tag failure, and a a fingerprint authentication issue.

This update is available as build CP31.260623.010 for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro up through the Pixel 10 series and Pixel 10a.

Remember, Android 17 QPR1 Beta hit platform stability in Beta 6, so the last two updates have been simple bug fixers.
