One of the things I love most about being a Logan Canyon family photographer is watching families return to the same beautiful places year after year.

Tony Grove Lake has become one of the most popular destinations for family photography in Northern Utah, and it’s easy to see why. The alpine lake, mountain views, evergreens, and seasonal wildflowers create an incredible setting that feels peaceful, adventurous, and timeless all at once.

Whether it’s your first visit or a family tradition, Tony Grove always provides a stunning backdrop for documenting this season of life.

Why Families Love Tony Grove

There are very few locations in Northern Utah that offer as much variety as Tony Grove Lake.

During one session, we can photograph your family beside the lake, among towering pines, along mountain trails, and in open meadows filled with incredible evening light.

That’s one reason I recommend this location so often. Every gallery feels unique while still showcasing one of Cache Valley’s most iconic landscapes.

Family Photos Aren’t About Perfect Poses

The photographs families treasure most usually aren’t the perfectly posed ones.

They’re the genuine laughs.

The little hugs.

Kids running toward their parents.

The quiet moments between siblings.

My goal during every session is to create an environment where those moments happen naturally. I’ll guide you every step of the way while allowing plenty of room for authentic interactions that reflect your family’s personality.

Investing in Memories

Family photography becomes more meaningful every year.

Children grow.

Parents grow older.

Life changes.

Photographs preserve a chapter of your family’s story that you’ll never experience again in exactly the same way.

As a Logan Canyon family photographer, I love helping families preserve those memories in one of Utah’s most beautiful mountain settings.

If you’re planning family photos in Logan Canyon, I’d love to help create images you’ll enjoy for decades to come.
