Heel By Nature Fans in Australia made their feelings clear during AEW Grand Slam, where anti-ICE chants were heard again during Brody King’s main event match.
The chants first got attention on the February 4 episode of Dynamite. Since then, they have caused debate among wrestling fans. Some people criticized the political message, while others supported King and his right to speak about issues he cares about. King has been open about his criticism of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.
Rumors started earlier this week when King did not appear on Dynamite. Some reports claimed Warner Bros. Discovery had kept him off TV because of the controversy. Those claims were later denied. It was confirmed that King had traveled to Australia for the Grand Slam event in Sydney.

King challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship in the main event. He received a very positive reaction from the crowd. During the introductions, loud “F**k ICE†chants could be heard in the arena. The moment was similar to the earlier Dynamite segment that went viral online.
AEW has not released an official statement about the chants. Reports say that reactions from international fans, including the crowd in Sydney, have mostly been supportive.
